Earlier in the week, Sean surprised me with some photos of a most darling little visitor…
Due to some palm tree trimming next door, this cute little owl happened to fly down to our porch roof for some respite. He looked around a bit before he realized that he was the star of the show.
He looked much bigger in the close-ups…but you can see by this photo that he really is just a little guy. I hope he knows where his mama is…

I was just sitting on our screen room this a.m. listening to the owl that lives in the oak tree out back. It’s a nice way to start the day. Of course the cats were doing their best to find him…..
We have 4 cats and one of their favorite pastimes is bird watching – and of course they love lizards too.
